Walk in someone's shoes

Blind people travel independently through cities, airports, and unfamiliar countries. What changes is how much the built environment helps or gets in the way. A well-announced platform, a logically designed terminal, textured ground strips near crossings - when these exist, travel works. When they don't, every step takes more planning and more trust.
